Sign & Graphic Arts Thermal Ribbons
Caxton Mark sign and graphic arts thermal ribbons for printing on signage are designed to withstand severe weather and handling conditions in both commercial and industrial applications, meeting or surpassing OEM performance requirements. Customers can select from more than 30 process, spot and metallic colours.

Now Caxton Mark can offer a first generation reusable injection molded cartridge for Gerber Edge Printers. This cartridge allows users to replace ribbons without continuing the old practice of cutting the OEM cartridge. The cartridge is packaged in a corrugated sleeve that will allow for easy shelf storage and provides a viewing port to identify ribbon color as well as an END-OF-RIBBON indicator gauge.

Expected performance life of Caxton Mark "Plus" process and spot colour thermal ribbon is 3-5 years (less for gold and silver ribbon). Prolonged exposure to ultra-violet light may reduce the life expectancy. Use Caxton Mark's protective clear overlay for additional U.V. protection and scratch resistance.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Caxton Mark Premium Durability Ribbons may be stored for a period of 12 months, providing it is in a clean space, free from excessive moisture. Store out of direct sunlight, in an area within 40% - 60% relative humidity. Ambient temperatures should be below 38°C (100°F). Keep ribbon in protective packing sleeve when not in use.
DO NOT STACK PRINTED MATERIALS PRINT-SIDE TO PRINT-SIDE.
Place paper between the layers of stacked or rolled printed materials.
PRINTED VINYL CLEANING METHODS
Use a mild, non-abrasive soap and water with a soft cloth or sponge as per vinyl manufacturer's recommendation. Do not use solvents, including alcohol-based cleansers, or soaps containing grit or abrasives to clean. Automated vehicle washing systems that use rotary cleaning brushes should also be avoided.
